In a specific municipal inspection sector, the client had discovered a huge opportunity for automation that could save some cities millions of dollars each year. Though maintaining a skilled in-house software team, the company lacked the electro-mechanical horsepower to create an investor-ready proof-of-concept (POC).


Boulder Engineering Studio brought the necessary design expertise to make the client’s vision a reality in 3D-printed nylon and off-the-shelf components--all while updating and supporting the client’s current products. BES’s firmware engineers helped to augment the customer’s in-house team and our electrical team helped design and manufacture the necessary custom circuit boards.
